Pregabalin in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder

Generalized anxiety disorder is one of the most common anxiety disorders. Pregabalin is unique due to its mechanism of action

among other anxiolytics. It´s effectiveness is proven both in acute and long-term phase of treatment. The case report narrates its

use in a patient resistant to prescribed antidepressants and further good therapeutic response to pregabalin.
