Úskalí psychiatrické diagnostiky v dorostovém věku

V adolescenci se mohou projevit první příznaky závažných psychiatrických onemocnění, jako jsou např. psychotické poruchy, afektivní poruchy, neurotické poruchy, poruchy vyvolané účinkem psychoaktivních látek či poruchy osobnosti. Prvotní příznaky těchto skupin onemocnění mohou být nespecifické, mladiství pacienti častěji nesplňují všechna požadovaná diagnostická kritéria. V diferenciálně diagnostické rozvaze je nutné využití mezioborové spolupráce k vyloučení somatických, zejména neurologických poruch. Tato kazuistika se zabývá diagnostickou rozvahou u osmnáctiletého pacienta, přijatého k první hospitalizaci na Psychiatrické klinice na žádost jeho sestry, studentky medicíny.
