Fridrich P. EEG, EKG a EMG monitorování při elektrokonvulzivní terapii. Psychiatr. praxi. 2004;9(1):12-13.

Autor shrnuje základní údaje o EEG, EKG a EMG monitorování při elektrokonvulzivní terapii (EKT). Vysvětluje výhody EKT s monitorováním ve srovnání s EKT bez monitorování. Autor také sděluje vlastní zkušenosti s monitorováním fyziologických účinků EKT pomocí přístroje Thymatron TM System IV.

EEG, ECG and EMG monitoring during electroconvulsive therapy

The author reviews basic knowledge on EEG, ECG and EMG monitoring during electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). He explains the advantages of ECT with monitoring in comparison with ECT without monitoring. He also provides his own experience with monitoring physiological effects of ECT with Thymatron TM System IV instrument.
