Autor překládá základní nástin vztahu mezi depresí a kardiálními chorobami. Zdůrazňuje přímý vztah mezi těmito dvěma závažnými nemocemi. Ve druhé části se potom zaobírá léčbou kardiovaskulárních pacientů, kteří trpí zároveň depresí. Ukazuje na nezbytnost správné volby účinného a při tom bezpečného antidepresiva. Závěry jsou dokumentovány recentní literaturou.

Cardiac Patient Depression Treatment

The Author gives basic relationship between depression and cardiac disease. Emphasize direct relationship of both serious diseases. The second part gives guide-line how to treat cardiac patients with depression. Show necessity to use effective and safety antidepresive medicine. Conclusions are documented by recent literature.
