Frontotemporální demence - kazuistiky z klinické praxe

V souvislosti s prokázáním efektu inhibitorů cholinesteráz u Alzheimerovy nemoci se začal klást důraz na exaktní diferenciální diagnostiku jednotlivých typů demence. Opomíjeným typem demence, pro který nejsou inhibitory cholinesteráz indikovány, je frontotemporální demence. Práce stručně shrnuje základní charakteristiky frontotemporální demence a prezentuje dvě kazuistiky, popisující typické znaky dvou nejčastějších klinických forem - demence frontálního typu a sémantické demence.
