Asociální osobnostní rysy představují závažný diagnostický problém a praktickou překážku psychodynamické psychoterapie. Tato práce obsahuje kazuistická sdělení, dokumentující nástrahy, jež se mohou v ambulantní praxi projevit někdy až po dlouhodobé psychoterapeutické práci. Rozpoznání poruchy je obtížné také z důvodu kombinace osobnostních rysů. Léčebné vyhlídky nebývají nadějné, pokud vůbec k zahájení psychoterapie dojde.
