Serotonin u obsedantně-kompulzivní poruchy

Serotoninergní antidepresiva se užívají v léčbě jak depresivní poruchy, tak v léčbě obsedantně-kompulzivní poruchy (OCD). Jejich dávky musí být zpravidla vyšší a účinek nastává po delší latenci než u depresivní poruchy. Autor pozoroval vznik vážných příznaků OCD po započetí léčby tianeptinem, který narozdíl od ostatních antidepresiv zvyšuje vychytávání serotoninu ze synaptické štěrbiny. Kazuistika je příspěvkem ke koncepci, že mechanizmus účinku antidepresiv není u depresivní poruchy a u OCD stejný.

Keywords: Zdá se, že zvýšení koncentrace serotoninu v synaptické štěrbině není tak důležité u deprese jako u OCD.
