DELIRIAS - THE SERIOUS AND UNAPPRECIATED PROBLEM OF GERONTOPSYCHIATRY

The article deals about delirias – about their occurence, clinical picture, ethiology, diagnostics and the possibilities of therapy. This clinical unit is still unappreciated and disregarded. Delirias represents the serious clinical states, which make the prognose of survive worse.

They are non-specific reactions on the different noxes, for instance hypoxia, metabolic disorders, dehydratation. It’s possible to avoid some delirias by in time provided therapy of somatic disorders, by avoiding of polyphragmasy and using of unsuitable drug therapy, by sufficient hydratation and alimentation of patients.
