Mentální anorexie u čtrnáctiletého chlapce

Popíšeme kazuistiku pacienta a jeho rodiny, se kterými jsme se poprvé setkali na jaře 2003. Tehdy čerstvě 13letý pacient Martin byl podruhé hospitalizován na pedopsychiatrickém oddělení PK v Plzni. Pacient byl přijat pro rozvoj pestré psychiatrické symptomatologie, která se týkala příznaků z okruhu poruchy nálady ve smyslu deprese, dále separační úzkostné poruchy a konečně mentální anorexie (MA). Poslední okruh symptomů se posléze ukázal jako dominantní. Zajímavý je především fakt, že chronické psychosomatické stonání trvalo již několik let před propuknutím MA, a přesto nevedlo k indikaci adekvátního přístupu, tedy např. vhodné rodinně-psychoterapeutické intervenci (RT). Dokumentujeme tím nutnost důsledného uplatňování bio-psycho-sociálního přístupu a možné důsledky přehlížení psychosociální složky.
