Mirtazapin v ambulantní praxi -24měsíční zkušenost

Mirtazapin je antidepresivum, které působí jako antagonista noradrenergních a serotininergních receptorů a podáváme jej v naší psychiatrické ambulanci od března 2003. Lék je velmi dobře snášen, ačkoli u všech pacientů vyvolával na začátku podávání útlum. Pozitivním zjištěním z praxe je jeho dobrý efekt v monoterapii na nejčastější symptomatologii deprese – nespavost, anxietu a vlastní depresi. Ve sdělení shrnuji svou dosavadní zkušenost s tímto lékem.
