Spinocerebelární ataxie jsou heterogenní skupinou neurodegenerativních onemocnění mozečku. Stejně jako jiné cerebelární poruchy bývají spojeny s kognitivními a emočními změnami. Popisujeme případ dvou nemocných, matky a dcery, s autosomálně dominantní spinocerebelární ataxií typu 2. Srovnáváme nálezy psychiatrického a neuropsychologického vyšetření s funkčním zobrazením mozku.
