Ťažké delírium tremens komplikované rabdomyolýzou s akútnym renálnym zlyhaním

Opisujeme priebeh ťažkého delíria tremens komplikovaného rabdomyolýzou s akútnym zlyhaním obličiek. Príčinou ťažkej rabdomyolýzy bola aktivácia vegetatívneho nervového systému s výrazným svalovým trasom. Funkciu obličiek sa podarilo obnoviť intenzívnou infúznou a ďalšou komplexnou liečbou. Somatický aj psychický stav sa takmer úplne upravil. Na liečbu alkoholového delíria tremens sú tradične odporúčané sedatíva najmä benzodiazepíny, tiamín, infúzie glukózy, dôležitú úlohu má substitúcia deficitu minerálov, deficitu tekutín, podporná liečba a ošetrovateľská starostlivosť. Pacient s ťažkým delíriom by mal byť hospitalizovaný na jednotke intenzívnej starostlivosti.
