Eating Disorders

MUDr. Pavla Němečková Ph.D
Psychiatrická klinika FN a LF UP, Olomouc

The article about eating disorders does not bring in this generally known problem any new findings and conclusions. It is a review of two basic clinical forms of eating disorder-mental anorexia and mental bulimia. It reminds us their typical presentation and therapeutic approach and underlines a necessary complex approach both in diagnosis and therapy of these diseases.

Keywords: mental anorexia, mental bulimia, psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy
