Psychopharmacs cause number of adverse effects considerably affecting quality of life.
Psychopharmacologically induced sleep affection is a merely sharp-sighted adverse effect important for patients. Eventual worsening or development of the restless legs syndrome in psychiatric population, caused by psychopharmacs is discussed. Metabolic syndrome caused by antipsychotics and obstructive sleep apnea, as its newly discussed symptom, is reported.
