Social rehabilitation of mentally ill persons in contemporary conditions

The article concerns with social rehabilitation of mentally ill persons in Czech Republic. This text emphasises the comprehensive approach

to rehabilitation as an assumption for integration of medical and social interventions. The examples of good practice are submitted both in

psychiatric hospitals, day-care centers and social services. The indication for rehabilitation programs are discussed. The evaluation of contemporary

level of co-operation between medical and social services is proposed as well as the presentation of the providers´ collaboration.
