Food refusal in geriatric psychiatry

Food refusal is a common symptom in geriatric psychiatry. It may have several causes, mostly it’s a symptom of depression, psychosis

or dementia. But it’s neccessary to think also of somatic causes of food refusal. The article presents a few case examples where the main

symptom is the food refusal with different causes.
