Sluchové halucinace patří mezi nepříjemné, nebezpečné a zneschopňující komponenty schizofrenie. Léčba antipsychotiky nepřináší u všech pacientů úplné vymizení halucinací. Článek popisuje kazuistiku, kde byly sluchové halucinace léčeny pomocí nízkofrekvenční repetitivní transkraniální magnetické stimulace (rTMS), která byla aplikována na oblast levého temporoparietálního kortexu.
