Borderline personality disorder significantly influences the overall experience and behavior of an individual. Typical symptoms areaffective dysregulation, impulsivity and unstable concept of self and his/her surroundings. Depressive disorder is a frequent comorbidityin these individuals. Borderline personality disorder can have a negative impact on the treatment of depression, prolong thetime to remission and increase the risk of chronification of depression.
