Tato počáteční slova Cicera proti Catilinovi, kdy Marcus Aurelius vyjádřil svoji nespokojenost nad zneužíváním „naší trpělivosti“ a nad nepravostmi, mne poslední dobou napadala a napadají kamkoliv přijdu, když jednám, mluvím o dětské psychiatrii. Je skutečně tolik nepravostí a pohrdání pácháno proti dětské psychiatrii, nebo je to jenom můj subjektivní dojem, moje „uražená ješitnost“ specialisty?
