Eating disorders are significantly associated with suicidal behavior. Anorexia nervosa has the highest rates of completed suicide, whereas suicide attempts and self harming behavior are easily found among patients with bulimia nervosa. Risk factors are associated with depression, bordeline personality disorder and substance abuse. Patients with eating disorders should be obligatory assesed for suicidal ideation and self harming behavior.

The article talks about the manifestations of mobbing, specific fr contemporary society and health care settings. The authors summarize and describe various displays of violence, bullying, mobbing, bossing, and other forms of problem behavior in the context of work relations. They point out the dangers of such behaviour and its growing occurence, supplying their assertions with the outcomes of several research projects. In the article, they provide a definition of the perpetrators of mobbing, its victims, the way mobbing is usually played out, and the ways to prevent and solve these types of situations.

Antidepressants are generally thought to be non-adictive agents. However, there are exceptions in the group of older dopaminergic drugs like tranylcypromine and amineptine. Since 90s, there are some information in the literature regarding the tianeptine abuse, also in very high dosages. A stimulating effect is supposed. These findings are in opposition to the former recommendations for the clinical use of tianeptine in the patients with addiction and concurrent depressive or anxious symptoms. The article summarizes the principle of legal capacity according to the new Civil Code No. 89/2012. Restriction of legal capacity should protect the mentally ill; for this purpose, it is not necessary to deprive someone of legal capacity (as in Czech Rep.). A case of eating disorder treatment is reported that can be used to illustrate that it is worth insisting on working with the whole family, i. e. not only with the patient with an eating disorder herself, but with her parents at the same time.
